Day 01: Ho Chi Minh city – Ben Tre – Can Tho

• At 08:00, our driver and English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in central Ho Chi Minh City. Depart for Ben Tre, known as the land of coconuts, and discover a quieter, less touristy side of the Mekong Delta.
• Along the way, enjoy the peaceful countryside and get your first glimpse of everyday life in southern Vietnam.

• Upon arrival in Ben Tre, board a local boat and enjoy a fresh coconut welcome drink together with a small souvenir gift.

• Cruise along the Mekong River and observe local boats, riverside homes, coconut-processing workshops, and the daily activities of people living along the waterways.

• Stop at a traditional brick kiln to learn how local bricks are handmade from clay using long-established techniques.

• Continue by boat through peaceful canals shaded by nipa palms, where you can see local fishing activities and enjoy beautiful countryside scenery.

• Visit a local coconut-processing workshop and discover how coconuts are peeled, cracked, opened, and grated. Learn how local families make use of different parts of the coconut in their daily lives.

• Next, meet local people and learn about the traditional craft of mat weaving, which has been practiced in the area for more than 100 years. You will also have a chance to try weaving a mat yourself.

• Choose one of three ways to explore the peaceful village:
  • Walk approximately 600 meters through the local community
  • Ride a traditional xe loi / Lambro (local tuk-tuk)
  • Cycle 3–6 km along quiet village roads

• Enjoy an authentic Vietnamese lunch at Xom Nho, a local restaurant serving traditional Mekong Delta dishes.

• After lunch, take a traditional hand-rowed sampan and slowly cruise through a narrow canal surrounded by water coconuts — one of the most iconic experiences in the Mekong Delta.

• At around 17:00, continue by private vehicle to Can Tho City, the heart of the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, your guide will assist you with hotel check-in.
• In the evening, you are free to explore Can Tho at your own pace, visit the night market, walk along Ninh Kieu Wharf, or enjoy local food and the riverside atmosphere.

Day 02: Explore Can Tho city – Drop off Can Tho/Phu Quoc/ Con Dao

• At 5:30 A.M., our guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to Ninh Kieu Wharf, where you will board a local boat for a scenic 45-minute ride to Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta. Along the way, enjoy the peaceful river scenery and, on clear mornings, a beautiful sunrise over the waterways.

• Upon arrival, cruise through the market and watch local traders buying and selling fresh produce directly from boat to boat.

• Enjoy a unique floating breakfast with a traditional floating coffee, then stop at a local pineapple boat to taste freshly cut pineapple and take panoramic photos of the market.

• Next, visit a family-run rice noodle workshop established in 1984. Learn how traditional rice noodles are made, try part of the process yourself, and taste the popular rice noodle pizza.

• Continue through a small canal surrounded by peaceful riverside scenery and stop for photos at the picturesque water coconut canal.

• Afterward, visit a lively local market on land and take a short walk to see how the local shop for fresh Mekong fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, and other daily ingredients.

• At around 9:00 A.M., your guide will take you back to your hotel, marking the end of your Mekong tour for 2 days
