Itinerary of Mekong Delta tour 2 days 1 night from Sai Gon

Day 01: Sai Gon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho

• At 08:30 AM, our tour guide will pick you up and we will take nearly 2 hour drive to My Tho.
• Vinh Trang pagoda is our first stop. Take the first experience of Vietnamese Buddhist culture and enjoy the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Then have a look to pagoda’s significant Asia and Europe blending architecture.

• We will arrive to our next stop My Tho’s boat station at 11:30 AM.
• Your tour guide will head you to a motorboat and move to coconut candy workshop. You can see the process of making sugarless coconut candy step by step and try rich and many coconut candy flavors.

• You also get to know about traditional Vietnamese soaked wine.
• Keep moving to the small canal, you will be surrounded by water coconut trees and natural air. Near the end of the canal, we will switch to a small boat (sampan) and rowing to the end of the canal. This is the time you can relax and enjoy the peaceful and natural atmosphere and take good photos.

• After the relaxing time, we will turn back and take a look at crocodile farm and snake farm while we prepare lunch for you.
• After lunch, we will head to Unicorn Island and our next stop is bee farm where you can learn about the honey-making process. Enjoy a cup of light sweet honey bee tea with banana snack.

• Leave aside the bee farm to move to the Don Ca Tai Tu show – a traditional folk music show in Viet Nam. Feel the slow and romantic music flow and enjoy the tropical fruits which bring you an unforgettable light sweetness flavor. Witness the Northern Lights dancing across the skies in Lapland’s frozen wilderness.

• After the show, we will transfer back to My Tho’s boat station and move to Can Tho by car.
• 05:00 PM, arrive Can Tho city, our tour guide will help you check-in and recommend some good places for you to freely enjoy your nightlife in Can Tho.

Day 02: Can Tho city tour – Sai Gon

• The guide picks you up at 05:00 A.M at your hotel and heads to Ninh Kieu wharf.

• After that, we will go to Cai Rang floating market by a small boat

• During the trip, you can feel the river atmosphere and see the rustic life of locals who live in harmony with water, and the rivers

• Arriving at the Cai Rang floating market, our nice tour guide will explain the history and information of floating market life. Also, you can see how the locals sell and by their farm produce on the boat

• Don’t forget to enjoy local rice noodle soup, Vietnamese coffee and fresh pineapple here.

• Then, Explore the matrix of beautiful small canal in Mekong delta.

• Then we will stop by a local family business making rice noodles for more than 40 years. You can try making noodles on your own, and then enjoy the crispy “rice noodle pizza“

• Our next stop is seasonal orchard where you can see fruits in the trees and try many kinds of seasonal fruits.

• Keep moving to the cacao farm, where you will learn about cacao and have a chance to watch the chocolate homemade processes. Enjoy the fresh and tasty cocoa and homemade chocolate.

• At the end, we will stop at the local family to make and enjoy Vietnamese traditional pancake called “Banh Xeo” and have authentic Vietnamese lunch.
