Itinerary of Son islet tour
- Pick up at 5:30 A.M at your hotel and transfer to Ninh Kieu Pier. After that, we will head to Cai Rang floating market by a small boat.
- Visit Cai Rang floating market, you can see how the locals do their business on the boat while tasting some hot & delicious breakfast dishes & coffee on the boat
- Enjoy fresh pineapple on the local boat & take a panoramic photo of the floating market
- The boat keeps heading through a stunning small canal & know more about the local life
- The next stop is a four-decade making noodle factory. You guys here can see the process of making traditional noodle and give it a hand to try some steps of making rice noodle. Don’t forget to enjoy “crispy rice noodle pizza” made by the local lady.
- Visit Binh Thuy’s ancient house. You will get the chance to “travel through the air” to know more about French-Vietnamese ancient house. You also know about the famous film The Lover (L’ Amant) filmed in this house

Fantastic Son Islet Tour at Can Tho City. Son Islet is one of the best tours that I have ever experienced in my life. From the Can Tho city center, Jackie and we took a ferry to the islet lying in the midst of the Hau river. When we made land in Son Islet, we felt like we were lost in a totally different world. It was tranquil with many birds flying above and the dense rows of trees. I found it interesting to make Banh La Mit (Vietnamese jackfruit tree leaf cake) and witness the performance called “Flying Snakehead Fish”. Generally, I’m totally gratified with this fabulous tour.
