After visiting Cai Rang floating market and Phong Dien floating market, I was able to float on the river and learn about the life on the river of people in the Southeast region. I really felt very wonderful to be able to immerse myself in the nature of the region. West of the river like this makes me feel very excited.
Visiting and enjoying traditional noodle dishes in Vietnam made me very impressed, especially enjoying many fresh fruits in the garden. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and shared his insights and personal stories that he had heard to help me enjoy this wonderful trip.

We booked the tour: Phong Dien floating market – Good Morning Can Tho.
Jackie and his team were great. The tour started on time with a pick-up at 4 AM in front of our hotel. We took a taxi that was already there to our boat. At this time we were almost the only ones on the Mekong River, which was a nice moment. After a short stop to get coffee, we went to see the 2 floating markets Phong Dien & Cai Rang. At both markets we were able to enjoy fresh fruit as well as breakfast at Cai Rang. After visiting the markets, we went to the noodle factory. A small family business that makes rice noodles. You are not there for long, but in a short time you can see the entire process of making rice noodles, which is still interesting. After the noodle factory, we went to the fruit garden, where you could see and try some fruit growing. Finally, we went back to the starting point via a small side canal by boat, where a taxi was already waiting for the return trip to the hotel.
The tour took an hour longer, but that didn’t bother us because Jackie and his team were able to give us very good information about the region and life in Vietnam.
We highly recommend the tour with Jackie!
